REQUIREMENTS

  • Anyone entering Jamaica Plain Wellness will be encouraged to wash their hands and/or use hand sanitizer upon entering the studio.

  • Masks are recommended but no longer required for clients.

  • Bring your own bottle of water. All non-essential items have been removed from the studio.

Individual practitioners may have additional requirements for their own comfort. Melanie has chosen to continue masking indefinitely.

SCREENING FOR COVID-19

  • Therapist self-screening for symptoms daily.

  • Therapist temperature readings throughout the day.

  • If the therapist, a client or anyone in their households experience illness symptoms, they will be asked to cancel appointments at the first sign of symptoms. Please review each practitioner’s specific cancellation policy.

  • Client to update health intake no sooner than 24hrs prior to appointment.

DISINFECTING ROUTINE

Each practitioner is allowing ample time in between appointments to thoroughly clean and disinfect the studio. This includes all high-touch surfaces as well as the floor and walls. We are using Bioesque which is made with Thymol and is on the EPA’s list of approved disinfectants to kill COVID-19.

PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH THE CURTAINS

Your practitioner will open the curtains and the door for you as you enter and depart.

AIR quality

  • TWO Honeywell HPA300 True HEPA filter air purifiers which circulate the air in the room 10+ times per hour. 

  • AC unit pulling in fresh air from outside (as weather permits).

  • Fan near the front of the studio to increase circulation. 

  • Bathroom exhaust fan to be left on at all times. 

  • Humidifier in operation during seasons where heat is in use.

  • Filters in HVAC system are replaced monthly.

  • Front door will be propped open between appointments for fresh air (as weather permits).
