Please contact individual practitioners directly with inquiries and booking requests.

Jamaica Plain Wellness is a small, one room studio. There is only space for one practitioner and one client/patient at a time. Because of this, we ask that you arrive no earlier than 5-minutes before the start of your appointment as there is no waiting room. In the colder months we keep the curtains closed to help with heat retention. Please knock on the door at the time of your arrival to alert us of your presence- unless you see the sign in the window that says “IN SESSION - PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB”.

INDOOR AIR QUALITY AND COVID SAFETY

  • Honeywell HPA300 True HEPA filter air purifier cleaning the air in the room 10+ times per hour. 

  • AC unit pulling in fresh air from outside (as weather permits).

  • Fan at the front window to increase circulation. 

  • Bathroom exhaust fan to be left on at all times. 

  • Humidifier in operation during seasons where heat is in use.

  • Filters in HVAC system are changed monthly. We have our own HVAC unit and do not share air with any other businesses.

  • Front door will be propped open between appointments for fresh air (as weather permits).

  • PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH THE CURTAINS - Your practitioner will open the curtains and the door for you as you enter and depart.

  • Each practitioner is allowing 15-30 minutes in between appointments to thoroughly clean and disinfect the studio.

  • If the Practitioner, a client or anyone in their households experience illness symptoms, they will be asked to reschedule appointments at the first sign of symptoms. Please familiarize yourself with your practitioner’s cancellation policy.

  • At least a couple of times each week people ask what color the ceiling is painted. It is Benjamin Moore “Bavarian Forest”.

  • Studio Rental: If you are a licensed and insured wellness practitioner looking for safe space to host your appointments, we are currently at capacity. However, please do reach out to Melanie if you are interested and she will contact you if time opens up in the future.
